The holidays are upon us!

We want to include our furry friends “children” in the festivities!

BUT, there are things we need to be aware of that can cause harm to both dogs and cats.

Most Common:

• Chocolate
• Nuts
• Ribbon
• Tinsel
• Plants – poinsettia, mistletoe
• Trees – pine needles can be ingested thru the nose, make sure the tree is anchored in case kitty wants to climb it!
• Some Ornaments
• Candles
• Candy Canes – edible tree decorations
• Alcoholic cocktails and beverages
• That little tidbit of turkey – make sure there are no hidden bones
